Milford Mills

Pennsylvania invented the American company town — coal patches and oil booms that burned bright and short.

Milford Mills was a village that was located in the Marsh Creek Valley of Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was inundated by the construction of the Marsh Creek Dam in 1972.

Milford Mills sounds like exactly what it was — a working town, not a resort.

The on-the-ground condition of Milford Mills is unverified — it's listed here with unknown status. That could mean standing buildings, or an empty field. Go prepared for either, and consider sharing what you find so the record improves.
