Pleasant Hill isn't the ghost town on the postcards, which is exactly why it's worth knowing about. The Pleasant Hill School at 2722 Farm Rd. 1399 in Linden in Cass County, Texas was a Rosenwald School built in 1925 to serve African-American children. It has elements of Bungalow/craftsman style.

Houston County holds 3 documented ghost towns, including Coltharp, Enon (Houston County) — Pleasant Hill keeps them company on the map.
